![]() ![]() MinimStreamer can also do other audio output processing (for example, convolution for room correction). Many people find that transcoding to WAV improves the sound. Re-downloaded the image, and this time, dismantled the USBridge and then used Etcher to write the default image to the eMMC.Įverything went fine this time! Nothin’ reported in the Uninstall dialogue of dietpi-software. MinimStreamer is used for playing radio stations and also for transcoding the output from MinimServer (for example, from FLAC to WAV) or for upsampling or downsampling. I just redid an install of the basic DietPi image for the Sparky. These contain all the software as described in the information link below: The images contained on are the pre-installed, ready to run Allo GUI images. ![]() Software is installed on demand via user run dietpi-software. The images contained on are the default DietPi net install images. But, in the unlikely event of a rainy day… So, there is some confusion here and i sure hope you are enjoying your holidays rather than looking at forums. This image is about 250Mb and, i assume, contain the software of the image on the eMMC as delivered. Sparky is a credit-card-sized (95 x 58 x 16-mm), highly integrated, open-hardware SBC that is based on an ARM application processor. I had a look at this forum and saw had referred to another image recently: It is the best choice for developing customized products as it provides an open, strong and friendly system development platform. ![]() The Sparky SBC currently supports Linux and Android operating system. Sparky is a highly integrated SBC, based on ARM application processor. However, nothing is working, no web gui, no Roon Bridge etc…Īnd i am still bothered by the NTPD-error, but now it does 60 tries instead of 30… By default Sparky boots off emmc card, so after getting guidance from ALLO, I have edited the bootmanager to first boot off SD Card. The Sparky SBC has all the functionality of a basic computer. It also claims to have all the software installed, like the Allo GUI version… It says on the file date it was created 14:14:26 but when i start the USBridge with this card it claims to be of version 6.11? This image is about 90Mb compressed. So i just now went to the site and downloaded an image. I got my brand new Allo USBridge a couple of days ago, and i am not too impressed with the slow cumbersome GUI which only works partly in each of the web browsers i have tried.Īnyway, i decided to try and image a microSD with a clean DietPi install. Re-downloaded the image, and this time, dismantled the USBridge and then used Etcher to write the default image to the eMMC. Otherwise, I suppose you couldġ) take advantage of moOde's UPnP renderer by setting up a UPnP AV media server on your PC (minimserver, for example) and running a UPnP control-point application on it or a phone or whatever.Ģ) take advantage of moOde's Bluetooth speaker capability by running a music player on the PC and streaming the audio to moOde over a Bluetooth adapter.ģ) take advantage of moOde's Squeezelite renderer somehow (about which I know nothing).įrankly, I think each of these options requires more work than setting up a NAS on the PC, and I don't like having to use yet another UI, but YMMV.Am i the only one having a lot of issues with the DietPi image for the Sparky? I just redid an install of the basic DietPi image for the Sparky. If that's so, then IMHO the easiest course is to do what you apparently don't want to do-set up a local SAMBA or NFS share. Do you mean you have an mp3 file on some other Linux PC and you want your moOde player to play it? I'm not sure I understand your second question. No, there isn't API documentation for moOde per se, but mpd is a core component of moOde and you can use the mpd API documentation for many purposes. Click to doesn't look like anyone answered your questions. ![]()
